Potato Kitchen Soap 馬鈴薯家事皂


聽說生馬鈴薯汁加入皂之後,能夠加強家事皂的清潔力。

把馬鈴薯切小塊,用果汁機打成泥之後,慢慢過濾。
一顆拳頭大小的中型馬鈴薯,只有不到四分之一碗的汁液。
入皂後也沒有特別的顏色或是香氣,不過,果真清潔力驚人,不鏽鋼杯都可以洗的亮晶晶,用來洗碗去油力也很好。

[Practice] Egg Yolk Soap 蛋黃石泥渲染皂


蛋黃入皂還挺好玩的,每顆蛋黃的大小跟顏色略有不同,成皂的顏色也不太一樣。
很意外的這次的蛋黃皂是偏黃色,加上玫瑰石泥來嘗試拉花渲染,成皂後對剖。
石泥皂液倒的不深,對剖起來的花樣超怪的,像蘑菇還是房子?

Egg Soap 蛋皂


下個月就是復活節,應景的彩色兔子蛋也老早就上市面。
自己用矽膠嘗試做了一個3D蛋模,雖然不是很好用,還是勉強有蛋的形狀。
蛋黃皂配蛋模是再適合也不過了。
滋養的蛋黃跟維他命e這款皂很適合腳底乾裂的肌膚。
配上燕麥蜂蜜香精,很香很甜的一顆蛋。

For Easter, I made a 3D silicon egg mold. This soap with egg yolk and vitamin E moisture the skin. Oats and honey fragrance oil adds sweet feeling.

Oils: Lard, Olive oil, Coconut oil, Canola oil, Sweet almond oil

Sea Salt Soap 海鹽皂


作皂要考慮到一兩個月後才能用,所以明明時序剛入春,皂款卻似乎要靠近夏天了。
海鹽皂感覺很夏天,想做這款皂放到夏天來去去角質。
雖然臉上是油皮,私心覺得不起百分百椰油海鹽皂,又不喜歡加了鹽很難起泡的皂,就改成椰油加篦麻油來給泡泡加持一下。
再加上超脂百分之二十的酪梨由來滋養,希望臉上的老油皮不要被乾。
用上細磨海鹽,不敢用粗粒海鹽,很怕嚕起來自己先吱吱叫。
一時手癢,想看看加了50%油量的海鹽跟100%油量的海鹽皂有何不同,就做了兩塊不同海鹽量的海鹽皂,目測剛脫膜的時候,看不出有何不同(左邊是50%海鹽皂,右邊是100%海鹽皂)。等到用的時候,應該會發現不同之處吧。
加少量的粉紅石泥,也是因為手癢到不行,嫌棄沒有顏色的海鹽皂太單調。至於傳說中海鹽皂可以去老舊頑固角質、光滑肌膚等等神奇之處,就靜待一個月熟成吧。  


















把剩下一點點的百分百海鹽皂加到矽膠膜中,量實在太少,也不好掌握。
埋入一枚上次剩下的豬脂橄欖皂來增加皂的厚度,光滑圓潤的豬脂皂襯托出有細粒的海鹽皂,一面來去去角質,另一面來滋潤肌膚。

This sea salt bar combines sea minerals and kaolin rose clay with a pure vegetable base and moisturizing avocado oil to provide a luxurious cleansing experience. Embedding lard-olive oil soap with sea salt soap provides two difference experiences (moisture and exfoliate) in a soap bar.

Chamomile Breast milk Soap 洋甘菊母乳皂


這款皂用大量洋甘菊浸泡橄欖油,飄著淡淡的洋甘菊香味。
加入Shea butter跟母乳的皂,十分溫和,泡沫細緻,洗感令人驚豔。

Tooth Soap 豬脂牙皂


用皂來刷牙曾經引起過一陣話題,自己拿現有自製的無添加皂刷了一輪,好像還不錯。
想想古代人沒有琳琅滿目的潔牙用品,也是挺講究的樣子。
用柳枝代替牙刷,或是用青鹽刷牙。
也有古方,用豬油、薑汁、細辛等中藥來潔牙。
那就用純豬脂來打一款刷牙皂。
想著用薑汁、細鹽及肉桂去菌,使口氣清新,小蘇打粉可以潔白牙齒,通通加進去。

Americano 美式咖啡皂



喝咖啡成癮,連洗澡也想加加咖啡味。
把平時喝的espresso拿來入皂,想起網路上作皂前輩說:咖啡溶鹼很臭,急忙先用水溶鹼再加espresso,從espresso變成americano。
皂液中並沒有預計中的咖啡味,臨時又加了一把咖啡粉,成皂脫模還是沒咖啡味。
下次得來試試咖啡浸泡油了。

I added half amount of water and half amount of espresso in this soap. Not much coffee flavor stays. I hope coffee infused oil may give some coffee flavor in the next soap.

Green papaya and Greek yogurt Soap 青木瓜優格皂




超市的青木瓜好大一顆,買回家來個青木瓜二吃二用。
青木瓜就是一顆沒熟的木瓜,切開來果肉是白色間或淡黃色,可涼拌或熟食。
四分之一青木瓜拿來切絲醃鹽加糖醋,做成簡易版青木瓜沙拉。
另一大半則是削皮切塊,燉成青木瓜排骨湯,傳說有豐胸的效果。
最後的四分之一,就打成泥,一部分做成青木瓜優格面膜,剩下的就來做青木瓜優格皂。
皂淡色部分是加了青木瓜泥,還能看出有青木瓜的纖維,橘色部分是加了Greek yogurt打到有點overtrace,又用錯工具,渲染線條幾乎看不見。
又敷又洗,充分利用木瓜酵素,這樣皮膚也能白皙水嫩吧

Green papaya is usually used in cooking. I made a green papaya salad and pork-green papaya stew as a dinner. I also chopped the rest of green papaya to make green papaya-Greek yogurt mask and vegan soap. It is my four different ways to get the nutrition and papain from green papaya.

String of Soaps 熱製皂串



最近太冷,冷製皂生白粉生的很高興,改改口味來試試熱製。
之前皂在烤箱中保溫過度,有點半熱製的感覺。
這次的豬脂皂用爐子完全加熱四小時,拌入粉紅石泥,捏成形後再串在一起。
還有用肉桂咖啡粉拌好的皂團也一起捏形串起。

It is first time I make hot process soap. Light pink color is from clay and dark color is from coffee and cinnamon. They are travel size.

[Practice] Funnel Swirl 漏斗渲


豬脂、咖啡、肉桂的渲染練習皂。
比起之前的渲染練習,漏斗渲簡單多了,只要安頓好漏斗,就照一樣的次序倒入皂液。
不用拉花,形狀就很漂亮。

小批打皂的缺點就是保溫不易,白粉跟白星星很容易上身。
尤其是冬天,這塊皂是在難得的下雪天打的,失溫嚴重,外頭雪花飄飄,皂中雪花也飄飄。

[Practice] Mantra Swirl 渲染練習


用自製隔板作的渲染,可以把渲染作到底。
有點失望的是成皂後,咖啡渣跟肉桂粉的顏色沒有太大差別。

豬脂皂開打後,每天只打少少的皂液,就天天練習不同的花樣囉。


The dark color is from coffee grounds and brown color is from cinnamon powder. I used chop stick and spatula as swirl tools.

Cinnamon Lard Soap 肉桂豬脂皂


就是那一桶超市豬脂,為了消耗它,之後會有一系列的豬脂皂。
也托了豬脂味的福,晚餐少吃果然是減肥的好策略。
這樣一天一種豬脂皂,希望能讓話說多年,成效為零的減肥計劃有所進展。

加入了味道重的肉桂粉,嘗試在小模當中作渲染。
渲染果然是需要練習的,同一鍋皂可以整出不同的形態。
為了避免皂化反應失溫,產生白粉,第一次放到新家的烤箱中保溫。
新家的大烤箱沒有燈泡保溫模式,只好試試看開了WM模式。
結果,皂皂就過熱啦!邊緣果凍化,還有泡泡凹凸不平。
下次要先跟烤箱套好交情,WM好嚇人的。

肉桂有好多種,以前喝的中藥裡的肉桂或桂皮是cassia (chinese cinnamon),現在在這裡買到的是錫蘭肉桂 cinnamon。自己味覺跟嗅覺不甚靈敏,只覺得以前中藥裡的肉桂味道比較嗆辣,下次回家的時候,要好好研究一下兩種有何不同。


I added nice cinnamon flavor into lard soaps. Light brown color is from cinnamon powder. Swirl is unpredictable. I got different patterns from the same batch.


Two things I learned from this batch: 1) WM temperature of my oven is too high to cold process soap. 2) Cinnamon and cassia are different.

50% Lard Soap 豬脂橄欖皂


豬脂作皂的好處目前還洗不到,不過,作皂時的豬味的確讓我沒有晚餐的食慾。
用大量的豬脂跟橄欖油做成的溫和滋潤皂,脫模超容易,白嫩的顏色,看起來就很滋潤 ^^

Since it is so hard to find palm oil from grocery store, I use lard in substitution for palm oil. Lard and olive oil give both are good moisturizers for the skin.
Again, I lost appetite because lard smell. I did not eat snack at night (sigh).
One lard soap a day, keep my fat away…

Coffee Kitchen Soap 豬脂咖啡家事皂




常去的超市已經不賣棕櫚油,讓我困擾了一陣子。
到網路上逛逛做皂前輩們經驗談,才知豬脂是一種好用的油,聽說成皂雪白而堅硬,洗感溫和,在作皂的歷史上也是使用悠久的便宜好料。
而棕櫚油也有「植物性牛油」的說法, 想必用豬脂取代棕櫚油也沒錯。
逛超市的時候,手一滑,帶了好大一桶的豬脂回家。
開封一看,好白好滑,也好濃的豬味,融化時的味道更不同凡響。
一邊攪動皂液,一邊聞著濃濃的豬味反胃,晚餐也沒胃口。
想用咖啡渣壓味,拼命的加咖啡渣,連還沒晾乾的咖啡渣也通通下去了,可以看到那些沒乾的咖啡渣在皂液中結塊。
脫模切塊後還是有揮不去的豬味,希望晾個三個月能諸味退卻。

I made soaps from vegetable oils for years. It is my first time using lard as a soap material. I added a lot of coffee grounds into soap and swirled it. Dose it look like a cup of coffee with cream? Or nebula?
By the way, I totally lost appetite when I smell melting lard. Hmmm… It could be a way to lose weight.

Oatmeal, Calendula, Breast milk soap 燕麥金盞四倍母乳皂



第一次做四倍母乳皂,低溫溶鹼,冰箱保溫,還是沒有預計中的白。
沒有香精與其他化學添加物,小寶寶也能用的皂。
燕麥入皂的香味,好好聞。


I heard lots of magic things about breast milk soap for a long time. When I tried it, I am amazed at that luxury feeling and want to make it immediately. Fortunately, my friend had extra breast milk and gave me as a gift. I designed three layers of this soap: calendula added, non-additives, and oatmeal added. My dear friend, hope you and your baby enjoy it.

Oil: Olive oil, Palm oil, Coconut oil, Shea butter, Sweet almond oil, Rice bran oil
Additives: Breast milk, Calendula powder, Oatmeal powder

Buttermilk Soap 四倍酸奶皂



第一次買無糖的酸奶,很酸,飯後喝可以助消化。
拿來做皂聽說洗感很好,就一鼓作氣的放了四倍的酸奶入皂。
用酸奶冰塊溶鹼,鹼液成白色,混油之後呈現很美麗的粉紅色。
第一次嘗試玫瑰石泥渲染,果然不如預期。
入模切開之後,變成橘紅色。
期待熟成後的洗感。


Cultured buttermilk is a kind of fermented milk drink and has a sour taste caused by lactic acid bacteria. It was my drink after dinner, but now I shared it with my soap~~
used it instead of water and added more after trace. The light orange pink color during trace is pretty.


Rose clay added some red shade in the soap.
